Inflation Rate Volatility and Household Final Consumption Expenditure: Evidence from Cameroon

Aims: The study aims to examine the effects of inflation rate volatility on household final consumption expenditure in Cameroon. Studies and Cameroon are limited. This provides a new insight into how fluctuations affect Cameroon.
 Study Design: made use an ex-post facto research design as researcher has no control over variables.
 Place Duration Study: was conducted using World Bank data from 1980-2020.
 Methodology objectives were accomplished autoregressive distributive lag (ARDL) bound test error correction model (ECM) based conclusion unit root test.
 Results: findings indicate that positive significant effect both short long run.
 Conclusion: concludes unstable great impact
